Deglan qualified as a solicitor in January 1985, having completed his Training Contract in Guildford, and joined Davies Blunden & Evans in November 1985. He has also qualified as a Notary Public in December 2009.
He specialises in conveyancing (both residential and commercial), family law and employment law. He has gained considerable experience in advocacy throughout his career.
Deglan is married with one daughter.
Deglan is a committee member of the Hampshire Law Society (2008/9) and is
qualified as a Notary Public
He is a past President of both the Rotary Club of Farnborough and the Rotaract Club of Bookham and Horsley in Surrey. He is a member of the Hampshire Law Society Committee and of Resolution. He is also a member of the Guildford National Trust Volunteers and a Trustee/Director of the local Citizens' Advice Bureau.
