CRIMINAL MATTERS
Davies Blunden & Evans has a long standing commitment to representing clients on criminal matters.
We are a member of the Criminal Defence Service which enables us to represent free of charge clients who are to be interviewed under caution at the Police Station whether attending voluntarily or under arrest.

We have extensive experience in the Magistrates' Court and Crown Court and as the firm is a member of the Very High Costs Case Panel (VHCC) we are able to represent clients from arrest until the conclusion of their case whatever the nature of the alleged offence.
LEGAL AID
We represent clients in the Youth Court, Magistrates' Court and Crown Court. Legal Aid in the Magistrates' Court is means tested and we can advise if Legal Aid will be available.
Anyone who is arrested and detained at a Police Station will be asked if they wish to seek legal advice. If they wish to be represented by us they should give the firm's name to the Custody Sergeant when being “booked in”. It is then the responsibility of the Defence Solicitor Call Centre to advise us of that person's arrest. We will make prompt arrangements for representation of clients at the Police Station.
